Description

The Circle Unbroken—Youth Advisory Council

The Circle Unbroken is a reference to the wisdom of our traditional ways continuing, as long as we come together and sit in the circle. The purpose of the circle, and the Council, was to discuss what was going on in the community (ies), in an open and respectful way. Everybody had a voice.

All youth are welcome to join the Youth Advisory Council. You are encouraged to discuss what is going on in your communities/tribes—things you are concerned about--the good things, as well as the not so good.

We want to know what YOU think—what can we do to effect/affect positive changes—in family, in community, and with others, as well as with ourselves.
How can our traditions and the lessons guide us today?

Respect and responsibility must guide members of the Council—while everyone has a voice, you cannot dis anyone else, or be dis-respectful—those who cannot be bound by these rules will be asked to leave the circle.
